There are trips that begin when we write down the phone number when we meet someone in a bar. Those numbers are transformed into identity and new experiences, which create and recreate their own version of the other. A relationship is born, with its beginning, middle and end. We tend to forget and leave behind.
But what happens when we face that back, that past? What could happen to us if we took those letters we wrote to each other when we were lovers and transcribed them, just to understand how far we've come? Or review those photos, those abandoned projects and simply think about what we are, not what we could have been?
In my abandonment, in being thrown into the world, I have understood that its antithesis is the way in which I have come to understand affection. For this reason, I have selected two relationships from the past, in which abandonment has played a decisive role, and I have faced them, ten years later.
In a bar. In that bar where I have made most of my friends and where no one knew me two years ago.
Where again, everything is repeated.
